If Mizan is not right for you, ask for your money back within thirty days and we will refund it. No conditions about how much of the service you used, and no explanation required.
You may request a full refund within thirty days of your first payment. This applies to the initial purchase of any plan, monthly or annual.
The window runs from the date of the charge shown on your Paddle receipt. Running scans, generating reports, and exporting results during that period does not affect your eligibility — the point of a trial period is to actually test the product.
Either route works. The first is usually faster.
Open the receipt email you received at purchase and use the account management link, or contact Paddle support directly at paddle.net with your order reference. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all Mizan purchases and processes refunds directly.
Use our contact form, giving the email address on your account and the order reference from your Paddle receipt. We will authorise the refund with Paddle on your behalf.
We acknowledge refund requests within two business days. Once approved, Paddle issues the refund to your original payment method. Funds typically appear within five to ten business days, depending on your bank or card issuer — that final step is outside our control and Paddle's.
The thirty-day window covers your first payment. Renewal charges are not automatically refundable, because you have had a full billing period to decide whether to continue.
Two exceptions, both applied without argument:
To avoid unwanted renewals entirely, cancel before your renewal date using the account management link in any Paddle receipt. Cancelling keeps your access running until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If the service is materially unavailable or broken for an extended period during a billing period you have paid for, contact us. We will refund a pro rata share of that period, or extend your subscription by the affected time — your choice. This applies regardless of how long you have been a customer, and is separate from the thirty-day window.
We refuse refunds only where a request is fraudulent, where an account was terminated for breach of our Terms of Service, or where the same customer repeatedly purchases and refunds the same plan. These are rare, and we will tell you plainly if one applies to you.
Findings you disagree with are not grounds for us to decline a refund. If Mizan reports defects you consider false positives, that is a reason to ask for your money back — and, if you tell us which rule misfired, a reason for us to fix it.
This policy sits alongside your legal rights and does not replace them. Consumers in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with mandatory withdrawal or cancellation rights keep those rights in full. Where local law gives you more than this policy does, local law applies.
